TGF: Covered Stainless Steel Rods For Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
TGF rods are the flux coated rods for GTAW. They are developed for welding the penetration pass in butt joints where back shielding with inert gas is impracticable. The slag made from covered flux conceals the penetration bead from the air and provides the sound penetration bead with good appearance.

5, In stainless steel pipe welding, there is no need to blast argon in the pipes to protect the back of the weld bead.
