HARD 350R
JIS Z3251 DF2A-350-R
DIN 8555 E1-UM-350-GP
EN 14700 E Fe 1
CHARACTERISTICS
•Metal enriched, rutile type electrode
•C-Mn-Cr type air hardening, machinable, martensitic steel deposit
•For rebuilding & surfacing steels subjected to metal to metal abrasion
DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS
HARD350R is a smooth running, AC/DC electrode with the applications of multi-layer build-up and surfacing of steel components subjected to metal to metal wear and compressive loading. HARD350R deposits an air hardening C-Mn-Cr steel alloy which is machinable. Recommended for the manual arc build-up and surfacing of gears, shafts, rollers, quarry parts, track links and etc.
Notes on usage
(1) Preheating the weld piece at 150℃ and over is required
(2) Postheating the weld piece at about 600℃ is recommended
(3) Under-lay with low hydrogen type electrodes for mild steel in case of multi-layer build-up welding or welding mother plates with hardening property,.
(4) Drying the rods at 100~150℃ for 30~60 minutes before use is requested.
