HARD 600R
JIS Z3251 DF2B-600R
DIN 8555 E2-UM-55-G
EN 14700 E Fe 2
CHARACTERISTICS
•An all position rutile coating electrode that produces a non machinable martensitic deposit (only by grinding)
•Good restriking and low spatter
•The electrode can be used with the drag or contact welding technique as well as out of position
DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS
HARD 650R produces a crack-free wear resistant deposit with a hardness of 55-57 HRC depending on dilution and number of layers. It is particularly suitable for applications involving sliding, rolling and metal to metal wear, combined with resistance to mild abrasion.
Designed for rolling, sliding and metal to metal wear resistance
Notes on usage
(1) Preheat at 150℃ and over in general.
(2) It is desirable to postheat at about 600℃ .
(3) In case of multi-layer build-up welding or welding mother plates with hardening property, under-lay with low hydrogen type electrodes for mild steel.
(4) Dry the electrodes at 100~150℃ for 30~60 minutes before use.
